About These Groups
Our social skills groups focus on improving your child’s ability to successfully and confidently interact with peers across various environments and settings. They will have the opportunity to practice their social skills with our therapists observing and coaching along the way.
Topics covered vary by age and group participants and will include skills required for meeting new people, conversation, body awareness, attention and focus, executive function tasks, self-regulation, and much more!
What skills are improved?
These groups incorporate both Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy skills.
Speech Therapy
Speech Therapy helps your child communicate clearly and confidently. The skills include improving articulation, voice, fluency, and language.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy helps your child to succeed in daily life activities. The skills include improved sensory processing skills, fine motor skills, self-care skills, self-regulation skills, overall movement, cognition, and perception.
